This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support a medical center pharmacy system with multiple practice areas. The position offers two distinct roles within the system: float coverage among three pharmacies, including a general medical center pharmacy, a hospital pharmacy, and an infusion center; or a specialized role focused on the infusion center, working with oncology medications.
Responsibilities include managing prescription verification, dispensing medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care. The candidate will provide pharmaceutical services in varied settings, adapting to differing patient needs across locations.
Key Qualifications And Experience
- Licensed Pharmacist with active credentials
- Prior experience with Cerner pharmacy system preferred; training available if needed
- PGY1 residency completion highly preferred
- Experience with chemotherapy and oncology medications considered a significant advantage
- Ability to work full-time hours, including 8- to 10-hour shifts, swing shifts, every other weekend, and holidays
- Local candidates preferred; consideration for travel or relocation may be given if necessary
